The Reflective Solution, APEX, is a customized software package designed exclusively for the waste management industry. Our focus is solely upon your business. The software consists of a core of three distinct functional elements, built on proprietary technologies using standards-based implementation techniques. Built around the Core Functions are several Application Functions that provide ancillary functionality to provide a complete, phased solution for a particular customer's requirements.

APEX APPLICATION MODULES
The heart of the Reflective phased-approach total solution is a powerful yet flexible SQL database schema, and, data management technologies. These technologies interface using further proprietary technologies that ensure data consistency and audit capability throughout the system, including to- and within- partner applications such as accounting, personnel management, and resource routing and optimization. Customer Service Agents are able to view at-a-glance a customer's summary table which includes all of the customer's account(s), information to perform service adjustments, as well as payment processing and handling general service inquires. Wizards and smart color coding provide for ease of use and significantly reduce errors. Reflective's APEX Software features database design that is highly adaptable to the way you do business now and for the future.
OFFICE MODULE: Smooth, efficient customer account management and work order initiation. Data entry tasks are controlled by customized drop-down lists to keep data accurate. New account creation is expedited with a Wizard, to ensure complete capture of customer information. Multi-window and tabbed-window views permit CSRs to work with several accounts at once! APEX hooks into your company's email and allows communication to the customer from inside APEX.
PAYMENT AND CHARGE PROCESSING: Batch transition entry is controlled by checks and balances, and a clear audit trail is maintained. Customizable user permission levels ensure that the same employee cannot create, post and delete transactions. A parent/child account feature allows billing for a huge number of service locations to be rolled up to one billing address.
USER ACCESS AND DATABASE MANAGEMENT: APEX is easily configurable to your company's rates, service offerings, zones of franchise responsibility, billing cycles, contracts, routes, schedules, neighborhoods, products, trucks, dump sites and inventory hives.
ROUTING AND WORK ORDER ASSIGNMENTS: APEX makes dispatch duties so fast and efficient that they can be done with only one hand! Drag-and-drop methodology organizes the route stops and the open work orders in a flash. Integrated location mapping clarifies a destination instantly.
REPORTS: No-Touch Billing TM: APEX customers applaud this feature more than any other. Customers who took DAYS to run their billing see APEX run it in minutes. Billing accuracy has been SIGNIFICANTLY elevated for APEX customers, and the wealth of data that can be extracted and analyzed has brought rave reviews from financial analysts. This module adheres to General Accepted Accounting Principles and accommodates flexible billing cycles, price codes and service types. Entities have the ability to setup and nest national, regional, and local accounts. Apex handles transactions for smooth billing and allows for flexible statement printing and mailing. Billing can now take minutes instead of days. The CRM ports to accounting packages by rolling up all financial transactions to top level G/L's.
VEHICLE ROUTING AND DISPATCH
APEX enables quick views of tasks and resources for drag-and-drop assignment to employees and drivers. APEX gives managers service completion status, and the ability to verify that all daily tasks have been completed through a summary color-coded screen. Managers can view and adjust route density for route load averaging, and display revenue by route.
IN-CAB DISPLAY AND CAPTURE
Driver work assignments are synchronized via wireless connection to a rugged all-weather touch- screen computing device in the truck. As the driver goes through his daily work orders he is able to input a record of all levels of service provided at each stop while receiving verification of the customer's account service status. The system also allows the driver to inform the office exactly what was picked up on the route, where, and when. This significantly aids in the billing accuracy and in the Customer Service Agent's management of communications. Too often, few residential drivers actually record and report when extra waste is collected. The In-Cab module allows a driver to report to the office as he obtains information. The transaction and any related charges are recorded and posted to the customers account. Management may view a company -wide report by route, daily or at any interval for approval. The capability to track via GPS with date and time stamping gives management insight to eliminate unauthorized pick-ups, use of equipment and loitering.
Reflective's partnership with Mentor Engineering provides for the Ranger in-cab fixed mount computer as part of the APEX offering. Ranger is designed to withstand climate extremes in the field and harsh use in the vehicle. Tough, exceptionally powerful and loaded with functionality, Mentor's Ranger sets a new standard for fixed-mount, enterprise specific solutions. It is easy to position, with a large and clearly visible (in all lighting conditions) display. Its full-color, high resolution touch screen is backlit allowing drivers to easily view everything from fine text to detailed diagrams. Ranger fits and functions in any vehicle. It features 2-way wireless communication, electronic dispatching, in-vehicle navigation, and more. BBX is the Automatic Vehicle Location, wireless communication and telematic data collection module of Ranger. Additionally, Ranger is set apart by a 16-channel GPS receiver that improves vehicle tracking and driver navigation. It also supports onscreen towing manuals and can be programmed and upgraded over the air. Internal compact flash cards mean that drivers cannot remove the flash, increasing security of company data. The only DHS certified mobile computer to meet Mil Spec standards for ruggedness, Ranger will stand up to the rigors of any in-vehicle environment.
INVENTORY
APEX-WMS includes the ability to track multiple locations, type of asset, capacity and service status of bins, carts, containers, debris boxes and other assets important to the operation.
